I am the author of “The Orion Ghost” the first book in a trilogy of novels aimed at children in the 9 – 12 age range.

“The Orion Ghost” is a fast paced adventure story. Twelve year old Jennifer and her twin siblings Jack and Claire fly to the Atlantic coast of France to spend their summer holiday in a rambling chateau with their artist Aunt Isabelle. When they meet two French children and their dog, who live in an ancient nearby lighthouse, their adventures begin. They discover an old map and a huge, ancient key hidden in the pocket of an 18th century greatcoat.

 “The Orion Ghost” is available as an ebook via a number of retailers including Smashwords, and in paperback direct from Mouette Publishing or via Amazon UK.

The second in the series "The Catacomb Ghosts"is in pre-publication as an ebook and as a paperback and will be available in spring 2014.

Jennifer and twins Jack and Claire spend the Easter week in Paris with their French friends Thierry, Aliénor and Blanca the poodle. Accompanied by their Aunt Izzy and Uncle Bernard they look forward to a holiday of sightseeing but they get caught up in a mystery which takes them deep into the catacombs far below the streets of Paris.

While trying to solve the mystery of vagrants disappearing from the streets of Paris, they are caught up in an even more complex mystery dating back to 1200AD.

The third book in the trilogy is set in London and has a working title, "The Plague House Ghosts" . This is still at the research and planning stage and should be available in early 2015.

My interest now is in the writing of exciting books for children but I have also co-written two textbooks for communication skills that were originally published by Heinemann Educational. These texts, aimed at college students, are now out of print but are still used in many countries so if they interest you try ebay where they can occasionally be found for sale.
